Or more like, I’m it. :) Jess (what a great name) over at Cookbook Habit has tagged me for my very first meme! So, without further adieu, I give you my Friday deterent from work…

The rules: Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

What was I doing ten years ago?
Driver’s license in hand (I had just turned 16), I ventured out on my first toilet-papering experience. In 4 hours, 2 friends and I managed to successfully tp 1 out of 3 houses, lose (and find again!) my class ring, break a toe and have the police called on us as a joke… needless to say, it was my first and last time. :)

What are five (non-work) things on my to-do list for today:
1. Write a few thank-you notes
2. See Sex and the City with three girlfriends!! :)
3. jump on the Wii Fit to take my body test (ha!)
4. empty the dishwasher
5. water the pretty flowers on my back porch

5 Snacks I enjoy:
1. popcorn
2. Granny Smith apples & PB&Co.’s Dark Chocolate PB
3. Garlic Sesame Sticks
4. Butterkase on Sourdough
5. Did I mention dark chocolate? :)

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
1. build my dream house
2. trade in the ol’ 4-Runner for a BMW X-5
3. put money back for my future children’s education
4. travel… and lots of it!
5. donate to several charities

Places I have lived:
In order: Denison, TX; Fort Worth (Cowtown!), TX; Orlando, FL; Fort Worth (again); and back to Denison… I was in NYC with TCU for two weeks, does that count as living there?? :)

Jobs I have had:
1. Mail order business gopher at age 8… mostly packaging beads
2. Babysitter
3. More mail order work… answering phones, taking orders, packaging, invoicing, receiving
4. Sales at a local dress shop on Main St.
5. Even MORE mail order work!! :)
6. Gift shop sales at Typhoon Lagoon/Disney World (incredibly fun, met a lot of wonderful people, but Disney only paid $0.50 out of my $6 hourly pay… thank you to the state of Florida for the other $5.50!!)
5. Promotions Assistant for a major country radio station in Dallas, TX (loved this job - I still miss it!)
6. Advertising Intern for a Major League Baseball team
7. Intern for a news station in NYC during the National Republican Convention of ‘04
8. What do you know? Back to mail order work!! Now the Advertising/Marketing Director - keeping up the stock on our website/store front, adding events to our event pages and whatever the Head Honcho needs done*

*The ‘mail order work’ in question is my family’s craft supply business that my Dad started 38 years ago. :)
